The Universidade Lusófona, through the CeiED – Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Education and Development, and the Universidade da Madeira, through the CIE-UMa – Research Centre in Education, have signed a scientific, academic, and institutional cooperation protocol aimed at jointly and sustainably developing shared research, which may take the form of a CeiED branch at the Universidade da Madeira.

Both institutions recognize the strategic value of strengthening multi-institutional collaboration, fostering synergies that promote research, advanced training, and knowledge transfer in the field of Education.

During the protocol’s implementation period (2025–2029), both parties commit to sharing resources and promoting joint projects, thereby consolidating a new milestone in scientific cooperation between CeiED and CIE-UMa.
