The Project “Museum of Typhology of Castelo de Vide: Educational Resources for Inclusion and Citizenship”, was awarded in the 12th Ibermuseus Education Prize in Category II, intended for the implementation of new projects.
The pilot project is carried out by the Living Experience Center – Museum of Typhlology, with the general coordination of the Nossa Senhora da Esperança Foundation, has as official partners the Department of Museology of the Lusófona University, the Unesco Chair “Education, Citizenship and Cultural Diversity”, LUME – Association for Culture and Heritage and the Typhlology Research Center of Castelo de Vide, and is scheduled to take place from March to November 2023, with a series of 05 Workshops and 01 Conference.
The first workshop in the series, organized in partnership with the Department of Museology and the UNESCO Chair “Education, Citizenship and Cultural Diversity”, is promoted by the Study Group “Sociomuseology and Cultural Accessibility”.
The Workshop “Museology, Education and Accessibility” will take place at ULusófona, in Lisbon, on the 19th and 20th of April 2023.
