Ana Sofia Rézio

Sofia Rézio holds a PhD in Education with a specialization in Mathematics Education (Algebraic Thinking) from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário de Lisboa. She also has a Master's degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Numerical Analysis and Computational Mathematics from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. Her undergraduate degrees include Mathematics Education from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário de Lisboa and Applied Mathematics and Computation with a specialization in Numerical Analysis from Instituto Superior Técnico. She is in the 2nd year of her PhD in Mathematics, Modeling, and Applications (at Open University).

Currently, she holds teaching positions at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration of Lisbon and is a career teacher in Basic and Secondary Education in the disciplinary area of Mathematics (3rd cycle and secondary). She also has teaching experience in undergraduate courses in Basic Education.

She participated in two funded projects: in TSEMY - Training for sustainable employment of young people and young adults, funded by the European Commission (2020-1-PT01-KA202-78621), through funds granted by the National Erasmus + Agency - Education and Training Key Action 2 (KA2) - Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices (Strategic Partnerships for Vocational Education and Training); Project for Innovation in the Teaching of Mathematics and Sciences through the Use of Interdisciplinary Inquiry Learning Spaces, funded by CeiED.

She is coordinator of the Project Creation of Inclusive Pedagogical Materials for Students with Visual Impairment, in Basic Education Promoters of learning in the area of mathematics and sciences, funded by CeiED.
