Eduardo Teixeira has a PhD (2017) and a Master's degree (2010) in Physical Activity and Health from the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto (FADEUP), and a degree in Sports Sciences from the same institution. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Psychology, Education and Sport at the Universidade Lusófona do Porto (ULP), and Guest Adjunct Professor at the Escola Superior de Desporto e Lazer do Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo (IPVC). He is scientific coordinator and trainer in several Post-Graduations in the scope of clinical exercise and high performance. He is a member of the Physical Activity, Health and Leisure Research Centre, part of the Laboratory for Integrative and Translational Research in Population Health (CIAFEL-ITR). He has supervised several MSc theses and is the author of several scientific articles in the areas of exercise physiology and clinical exercise. His main research and development interests are in the area of biomonitoring and control of training, physical activity and physical fitness at different stages of life.
