Dulce Franco

Dulce Franco is an Assistant Professor at Lusófona University. She holds a Master's degree in Educational Sciences (dissertation title: School websites. Portfolio of teachers' ideas and practices) from Lusófona University. She also holds a PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Évora with the thesis "Learning and collaborative work on an online platform in a 2nd and 3rd cycle elementary school. Case study". She is a CCFCP certified teacher trainer in areas such as Technology.

She teaches Technology and Education, Initiation to Professional Practice, Internship 1 and Internship 2 and is an internship supervisor (ESEL). She is a specialist in the area of Teacher Training and Technological Area Trainers and an accredited trainer by the Scientific-Pedagogical Training Council. She is also a Professional Internship Supervisor (Universidade Lusófona- LCE-ES, IPLUSO-ESEL)

She has taught at various levels of education (primary and secondary)ans is the author of textbooks and teacher support booklets adopted in schools in the areas of Natural Sciences.

She is an integrated researcher at CeiED and is part of the Research and Learning Community (ReLeCo): Teaching, Learning & Innovation. She is currently the Director/Coordinator of a Master's degree course in the Teaching of Primary Education and Secondary Mathematics and Natural Sciences and has supervised doctoral dissertations and thesis (Portugal, Brazil and Angola). She was the coordinator and co-author of a project funded by the F.C. Gulbenkian in the field of school failure and dropout - Rádio escolar. She was a researcher on the TASK21 project - EdTEch and AI for Essential Skills of the 21st Century 2019-1- FR01-KA203-063063 (2022), among others.
