Liliana Rodrigues
Full Professor at the University of Madeira (UMa).
She holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Education, and a Bachelor's degree with a postgraduate qualification in Philosophy from the Nova University of Lisbon.
She is the Director of the PhD Programme in Curriculum and Pedagogical Innovation and of the Master's Programme in Education and Community Development at UMa.
She is a Member of the Group of Independent Experts of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, and Vice-President of SEDES Madeira.
She has served as Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Chair of the Ethics Committee, and Scientific Coordinator for Education at UMa, and has taught as a visiting lecturer at universities in Spain, Brazil, and Lithuania.
She was a research fellow of the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) in Portugal and Austria, and Coordinator of the Observatory for Education, Science and Higher Education at SEDES Madeira.
She served as a Member of the European Parliament between 2014 and 2019.
