Nuno Fraga, since 2024, has been the Coordinator of the Comparative Education Section of the Portuguese Society of Educational Sciences and a Voting Member of the Executive Committee of the World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES). He is also a member of the board of the Portuguese Forum of Educational Administration.

He is an Assistant Professor with Habilitation at the University of Madeira. He has a Ph.D. (2013) in Education from the Institute of Education of the Lusófona University (Lisbon), a masters degree (2009) in Education in the Area of Educational Administration, and a Degree (2005) in Educational Sciences from the University of Madeira (UMa). He also holds a postdoctoral (2021) degree in Educational Sciences from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCE-UP).

He is the current Director of the 2.º Cycle in Educational Sciences – Educational Administration (Master’s) and the 1st Cycle course in Educational Sciences. He served as the Scientific Coordinator of the Education Research Center at the University of Madeira for 6 years (2016-2022). He has held the position of President of the University Pedago
