Abstract
This research foresees new readings of the photographic archives of the Mário Soares and Maria Barroso foundation in the process of promoting an inclusive and plural heritage culture in the face of the celebrations of the 25th of April 50 years anniversary. Considering the unique role played by the CasaComum platform in the digital availability of Portuguese photographic heritage, we have developed practical tools of collaborative description for part of its photography collections, in order to publicize profuse – but invisibilized – readings of a past that is still dissonant as the so-called "colonial war". We observe the tensions about the memory of African liberation from a decolonial perspective of Sociomuseology and human rights, aiming to promote convergent dynamics between traditional archiving as a normative technique and the digital archive as an agent of public memory. Thus, this enrichment of data through focus groups techniques will try to describe the collections of photographs and build a glossary capable of housing a new decolonial, plural and inclusive taxonomy.
