This webinar will promote a reflection on inequalities in higher education in Portugal and Brazil with reference to the latest OECD report Education at a Glance 2022. Several indicators reveal the existence of these inequalities in several levels, from participation and completion rates, education expenditure and weight in household budgets, student support, to the social benefits of education.

The webinar will start with a brief historical background of Education at a Glance by Professor António Teodoro, followed by presentations by Professor Leandro Almeida and Professor Claisy Marinho and a discussion with the audience.
