On January 25, 26 and 27, the XXX AFIRSEl International Colloquium “Educational spaces – policies, practices, actors and learning” took place at the Institute of Education of the University of Lisbon, where 376 researchers from 15 countries participated.

CeiED researchers Dulce Franco, Maria Neves Gonçalves and Esmeralda Santo presented a paper entitled “Being a Childhood Educator and being a Teacher, is it an attractive profession today?” with the aim of interpreting the perceptions of the population about the needs of educators in today’s society, as well as understanding the dimension of the dropout of students in teacher training courses.
