A debate session was held on 10 November, related to the conference “Democracy and Education: old and new Dilemmas”. The conference, given by Professor Almerindo Janela Afonso, during the Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year, which took place on 20 October, aroused a lot of interest among the teachers, students and researchers who attended.

This informal session aimed to answer all the questions that arose during the conference and could not be answered, encouraging a sharing of opinions and comments on the themes of identity, democracy and rights.
