This e-book gathers a large part of the communications presented at the VII Seminar of the ASTE Network – Network of Researchers and Researchers on Associations and Unionism of Workers in Education that was developed on the theme: Teaching Unionism and the construction of the profession in Europe and in Latin America: contributions from the unions, state of research and perspectives, which took place in Lisbon, at the ULHT from 11 to 13 July 2019.

It was the first time that this Seminar was held in Europe ASTE network aims at the study and critical research on the associativism and unionism of workers in education, one of the most important sectors of world unionism.
