The InFo TED Academy in Nijmegen, Netherlands, has selected CeiED researcher Elsa Estrela to join the InFo TED Academy in 2025.

The InFo TED Academy’s admissions committee reviewed a pool of highly qualified candidates. During the selection process, they considered the need to assemble a diverse group of participants, bringing a wide range of perspectives, experiences, and talents to the program.

InFo-TED is an international forum aimed at promoting the professional development of teacher educators. The TED Academy’s mission is to empower teacher educators in Europe to take responsibility in their respective countries for mentoring and/or supervising other teacher educators (colleagues or novices). The program offers a unique opportunity to build networks of teacher educators across Europe, develop professional training programs, and establish a research agenda for teacher educators.

The academy will host 30 participants from various European countries, including Ireland, England, Scotland, Israel, Norway, the Netherlands, Greece, Portugal, and Belgium. The program will provide opportunities to deepen knowledge of teacher educator professional development, share practical and academic expertise, and collaborate on future professional development initiatives in this field.
