Carolina Dominguez Rocha and Filipa Leal, Master's students in Educational Sciences, and Marcelle Martins, a PhD candidate in Education at Lusófona University, took part in a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) organized by Laurence Beierlein from IAE-UPEC, within the framework of the Erasmus mobility programme. This was the first activity of UPEC as a new partner of the EURIDICE project.
The seminar took place at the Centre for Student Entrepreneurship and Innovation (IAE-UPEC) and brought together 18 students from various European universities — including UPEC, Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), and Lusófona University.
The programme began with two online sessions in early May and culminated in a full week of in-person activities in Paris. During this week, participants followed a diverse programme that included:
- Classes and workshops on responsible entrepreneurship, led by lecturers from partner institutions;
- Cultural and social activities such as city tours, a boat cruise on the River Seine, and a visit to MAXIMUM, a social enterprise that produces designer furniture from surplus materials;
- Networking and social moments between students and professors.
Using the SEIZMIC framework, students worked in international teams to develop a responsible business plan. On the final day of the seminar (23 May), students presented their projects to a panel of experts.
Carolina Rocha and Marcelle Martins were part of the winning team behind the project “Globuddy”,, an initiative designed to offer practical support and a social environment to international students in Paris.
