A new research project titled Neuroscience and Education Perspectives on Language Ability and Critical Thinking: An Interdisciplinary Approach (LINKING) has been launched with the aim of exploring the relationship between language skills and critical thinking in high school students.
Critical thinking is widely recognized as an essential skill for personal development and society. The LINKING project proposes an interdisciplinary approach, combining education and neuroscience, to understand how language skills influence the growth of critical thinking.
The project is led by Lucimar Dantas, a researcher at CeiED, and includes other researchers from the fields of education, psychology, and neuroscience.
The project's outcomes are expected to contribute to the development of innovative educational strategies and policies.
The LINKING project is funded through the Seed Funding ILIND Program (6th Edition) and will run for 18 months.
