The opening of the Institute of Education's academic year took place on 30 October 2024 in the José Araújo Auditorium at the University Centre of Lisbon of Lusófona University.

The event began with an opening session that included the participation of José Bragança de Miranda, Rector of Lusófona University and António Teodoro, Director of CeiED.

The event featured the special presence of Rui Trindade, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, as well as an integrated member of the Centre for Educational Intervention and Research (CIIE), in an enriching session moderated by CeiED researcher Elsa Estrela.
