Elsa Estrela and Rosa Serradas Duarte, CeiED researchers, participated in the thematic panel The construction of professional teacher identities in diverse contexts: Some contributions, with the communication Deconstruction and reconstruction of teacher identity(ies), inserted in the XVI Congress of SPCE – Portuguese Society of Education Sciences – Education and Cities: Times, spaces, actors and cultures.

The thematic panel was coordinated by the researcher Joaquim Pintassilgo (IE-UL) and included three other papers: from the coordinator himself – Being a teacher in “different” schools; from the researcher André Robert (University of Lyon) – French teachers and the question of their recognition by society: The role of unions -, and from the researchers Sandra Ziegler and Mayra Mugnaini (IE-UL) – The Waldorf teaching identity in Portugal: Thought, training and practices.

This collaboration culminated with participation in the congress dinner, which provided an extension of the sharing and the construction of future possibilities for joint work.
