In the scope of the special support “Summer with Science”, promoted by FCT, another edition of the Schools of Science | Initiation to scientific research and digital experiences started yesterday, coordinated by the researcher Carla Galego. In this activity, which will take place throughout September, the grant students will have the opportunity to develop practical activities in scientific and technological research in R&D centres.

In this year’s edition, some of the Science Schools activities will be carried out in collaboration with researchers from the Centre for Research in Applied Communication (CICANT), the Human Environment Interaction Lab (HEI-Lab) and the Centre for Research in People-Centred Computing and Cognition (COPELABS), which also have Summer Courses taking place under the Special support Summer with Science. The start of the activities was held together in a welcome session to present the projects followed by a visit to the facilities of each centre.
