Vítor Rosa, CeiED Integrated Researcher, publishes a new scientific article within the PISA_PT project.

The article, which deals with the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) and the participation of Portugal, has been published in the journal Medi@ções – Revista OnLine, of the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. The bibliographical and documentary review reveals that Portugal has been improving its results in the TIMSS since 1995. It also revealed that there are differentiations regarding the results by gender and cognitive dimensions (knowing, applying and reasoning). In TIMSS 2019 the Centre region was the territorial unit that obtained the best result in mathematics and science, in the 4th and 8th grades. The text is available here.
