Study visit to the AFID Foundation

On 9 July, students from the Master's Degree in Special Education: Cognitive and Motor Sciences, accompanied by Professor Maria Odete Emygdio da Silva, an integrated researcher at CeiED and Director of the aforementioned Master's Degree, went on a study visit to the AFID Foundation.

The AFID Foundation is a social solidarity institution that, among other services it provides to the community, assists people with disabilities in the areas of the Inclusion Resource Centre, vocational training and the Centre for Activities and Training for Inclusion (CACI).

Founded on 23 June 2005, the AFID Foundation aims to promote autonomy and social support, health, education and training in a sustainable way, in order to promote an active and quality life for people with disabilities and other target groups.
