Between January 28 and 29, we welcomed our partners from Spain, the Netherlands, Latvia, and Italy to Universidade Lusófona for the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting of the
HIGHRES project – Helping IntanGible Heritage REsilience through Storytelling (2023-1-LV01-KA220-ADU-000160743).
It was a highly productive meeting, marked by valuable exchanges and discussions, where we made significant progress in finalizing our Digital Storytelling model for promoting and preserving intangible cultural heritage. We reviewed the preliminary results of Work Package 3 after testing our methodology at the Monte Redondo Museum and continued developing an online course aimed at empowering communities and reducing inequalities in rural areas.
In addition to our working sessions, we carried out enriching technical visits in Lisbon, under the supervision of Sociomuseology PhD candidate Henrique Godoy, and in Peniche, including the National Museum of Resistance and Freedom, the Bobbin Lace Museum, and even a workshop at the Municipal Bobbin Lace School, providing a meaningful cultural and historical experience.
The HIGHRES project was approved under the Erasmus+ program with an outstanding score of 93 points and will be developed until December 2025.
