The second Training School of the COST Action CA18110 Underground Built Heritage as a catalyst for Community Valorisation is taking place in Murcia/Spain. Organized by the Faculty of Labour Sciences of the University of Murcia, the training school aims at developing and sharing new perspectives for underground heritage governance and civic engagement.

Carlos Smaniotto Costa from CIDATE/L3EP and coordinator of the working group on “Planning Approaches” addressed in the second day the guiding concepts of governance and alternative planning and management approaches, where he presented the paper entitled “Informal Planning Approaches in Activating Underground Built Heritage”.
