This webinar invited all those interested in the intersections between neuroscience, cognition, and education to engage in an interdisciplinary discussion on the relationships between brain functioning, mental processes, and educational practices. The session emphasized the neural mechanisms that support learning in school contexts and addressed cognitive factors influencing teaching and learning.

The event also included the presentation of the Master’s in Cognitive Science and Education at Lusófona University, a 2nd cycle programme (120 ECTS, four semesters) jointly offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Education and Administration and the School of Psychology and Life Sciences. The programme stands out for its interdisciplinary approach, exploring the intersection between cognitive sciences and education, with a strong focus on school-based learning processes.

During the webinar, participants received detailed information about admission requirements, selection criteria, course structure, and the academic organisation of the programme. The aim was to support prospective students in making informed decisions about this innovative course, designed to prepare professionals to address current educational challenges with critical thinking and a foundation in the most up-to-date scientific evidence.
