Building on the network established by the Project RUN | (Re)naturalised Urban Rivers the 1st Webinar Natureza Política (politics of nature) was organized by the Natureza Política Extension Programme of the Interdisciplinary Research Group (CNPq) of the Federal University of Minas Gerais.

With the participation of Carlos Smaniotto Costa/ULHT/CeiED and Marluci Menezes/LNEC, various concepts related to sustainability and nature in the city, as well as grassroots projects with social participation were discussed – thus enriching the debate on the contribution of citizen science in use and appropriation of territory – the issue that is at the core of both RUN and CIDATE.
