CyberParks: The Interface Between People, Places and Technology

The Cyberparks project seeks to promote knowledge about the relationship between Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and public spaces. The main objective of Cyberparks is to create a research platform on the relationship between ICTs and the creation of open public spaces and their contribution to sustainable urban development. The impacts of this relationship will be studied from various perspectives, ranging from social and ecological to urban design.

This project deals with the opportunities and risks that ICTs offer to their users through the appreciation and use of public spaces. It also explores the benefits of intervening in green spaces through digital involvement, thus sharing ideas, experiences, and knowledge while simultaneously analyzing public spaces.
