TO INN – From tradition to innovation in teacher training institutions

TO-INN is based on a systemic approach to the university institution that trains education professionals, conducts research, and learns while maintaining a close relationship with its context. To achieve this, effective knowledge exchange, training, and the consolidation of a common space for the development of the social dimension within the participating systems and regions in the project are necessary.

The general methodological approach is participatory and based on best practices, focusing on five strategic lines:

  • Territorial integration: The participating partner countries belong to Central America, South America, and the EU, and the proposal aims to integrate local interests into the development of common interests while respecting singularities and diversity.
  • Dialogical and participatory model: Based on recognition, exchange, and best practices.
  • Based on organizational development, participatory leadership, and teaching innovation in the training of education professionals.
  • Based on technology using the platform for teaching innovation (To-INN).
  • Transversal presence of the following axes:
    1. Culture and Tradition
    2. Citizenship and Participation
    3. Social Cohesion: gender and minority groups
    4. Digital Culture
