Inês Andrade Marques

Inês Maria Andrade Marques (Lisbon, 1976) is an assistant professor (ECATI/IE/ULusofona, Lisbon), a researcher and visual artist. She holds an International PhD in Public Art from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Barcelona (2012), where she also obtained a Master's degree in Urban Design (2008). She holds a Fine Arts - Sculpture degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon (2000). 

She has focused on contemporary public art and art pedagogies as a researcher, integrating teams in several interdisciplinary research projects. In her teaching experience, she has led and participated in several art projects and site-specific installations, emphasising collaborative creation and interdisciplinary approaches. 

Inês Marques is vice-director of the Master's Degree in Visual Arts Teaching - at Lusófona University; she is an integrated researcher at CICANT - Centre for Research in Applied Communication, Culture, and New Technologies, and collaborator researcher at CeiED - Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development, where she integrates the ReLeCo ART.DS - Socio-Artistic Studies for Decoloniality and Sustainability.
