

Sónia Ruão
Lecturer and researcher in the field of Education Sciences, developing her scientific work in the areas of Education, Inclusive Education, Equity, and Diversity. Her research focuses on the promotion of inclusive pedagogical practices, the recognition of diversity as a structural principle of educational policies and cultures, and the development of fairer and more equitable learning environments. She has a particular interest in pedagogical innovation, exploring approaches, methodologies, and teaching strategies that foster the full participation of all students. Throughout her academic career, she has combined research, teacher education, and engagement in educational contexts, seeking to contribute to the transformation of practices and to the development of more inclusive and socially responsible education systems.
