Abstract
In recent years, no one remains indifferent to the problems affecting the planet, such as global warming, which leads to water scarcity, pollution, noise, and the extinction of various plant and animal species. This study aims to demonstrate the importance of ICT in Environmental Management through environmental education and biodiversity preservation in Angolan schools and within the community. Schools can serve as a primary messenger of sustainability and sustainable development through students in the city of Huambo.
Lately, humanity has been facing very serious issues resulting from environmental changes, which can trigger negative effects for sustaining life in society, as the set of conditions necessary to meet basic and supplementary human needs is imbalanced. Thus, the importance of fostering habits and values within the population is acknowledged. Environmental education should be addressed more comprehensively in schools, utilizing various learning methods to engage students and involve them in an approach that, beyond knowledge, fosters awareness of the importance of this topic.
