The Bachelor’s Degree in Education Sciences – Social Education at Lusófona University – Lisbon University Center, with the support of CeiED – Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development, within the scope of the activities of CeiED Júnior, is organising the 2nd Education Sciences Conference – Social Education. This event is dedicated to reflecting on the role of internships in the training of future social educators.

The conference will take place on 18 March 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Professor José Araújo Auditorium, Lusófona University – Lisbon University Center.

Under the theme “Social Education Internships: The Role of Institutions in Training Future Social Educators”, the initiative will bring together experts, host institutions, and students to discuss challenges, opportunities, and best practices in the field.

The event will also feature the participation of EVA – Internships and Active Life, a service of Lusófona University dedicated to supporting and promoting students’ connection to internship placements and their transition into professional life.

Throughout the sessions, experiences will be shared regarding students’ integration into real work environments and the impact of these practices on their professional development.
