Ethics Committee
The Ethics Committee has the mission of promoting high ethical standards at CeiED, being able to present proposals or recommendations in this regard and comment on ethical issues raised in the areas of teaching, scientific research and the provision of services to the community.
The pursuit of quality scientific research with social relevance in the fields of Education and Human Development was one of the three main objectives that guided the establishment of CeiED and continues to govern its operation. In order to fulfill this objective, CeiED attaches great importance to maintaining high standards of integrity and responsibility in its relationships with research participants, society, the research community, research funders, and knowledge itself. These principles are affirmed in its Code of Ethical Conduct.
Thus, the adoption of the Code of Ethical Conduct aims primarily to support all those involved in research within CeiED in designing and conducting their research according to the highest ethical standards, regardless of their academic or professional status, the scientific area of research, the methodological approach undertaken, the context in which the research takes place, or the scale of the projects.
