International Seminar Mediation, Coexistence and Citizenship
The Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development (CeiED) co-organized, with the Mediation Institute and the European Association for Social Mediation, the International Seminar Mediation Coexistence and Citizenship, which took place on May 29, 2023 in the main hall of the Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário do Porto. Professor Alcina de Oliveira Martins, was present at the opening session of the International Seminar, having highlighted the importance of social mediation and reinforced the support of CeiED in supporting projects of this nature. This initiative aimed to have contributed to the sharing of reflections, provided (re)meetings and dialogue around social mediation (school, intercultural, etc.).
Multiplier Event of MARKA Project
On the 26th June will take place in the CESPU Auditorium, in Vila Nova de Famalicão, the multiplication event of the MARKA Project. The event, accredited as ACD, will count with international speakers and the sharing of the work developed, focusing on themes such as Innovation, Active Methodologies and Curriculum, Interculturality and Inclusion.
CeiED and the Department of Museology participate in the final meeting of the EcoHeritage Project in Asturias
On International Museum Day, 18 May 2023, a team of teachers and researchers from CeiED and the Department of Museology of Universidade Lusófona was at Ecomuseu La Ponte, in Asturias, Spain, for the final meeting of the EcoHeritage Project.
5th MusaCine – Museology and Cinema Showcase – “A Matriz Lusa” with Isa Grispum Ferraz
The 5th edition of MusaCine, an exhibition of Museology and Cinema took place on June 7, at the José de Araújo Auditorium, at the University Centre of Lisbon of the Lusófona University.
20 Years of the Revista Lusófona de Educação
The commemorative colloquium for the 20 Years of the Revista Lusófona de Educação took place on 19 May, with the theme: Research in Education as a contested terrain. 20 Years of the Revista Lusófona de Educação. The opening session, chaired by the Director of the RLE, António Teodoro, was attended by the Administrator of the Universidade Lusófona Manuel de Almeida Damásio and the Vice-Rector for Academic Community and Citizenship Professor Carlos Alberto Poiares. Both congratulated RLE, in the person of Professor Teodoro, for the courage of the initiative launched 20 years ago and for the leadership of the team responsible for carrying out the work of publishing the Journal.
Participation in the 24th Annual CiCea International Conference 2023 and 2nd Joint Conference with CitEdEV
The researchers Leanete Thomas Dotta (CeiED), Fátima Pereira (CIIE) and Thiago Freires (CIIE), participated in the 24th Annual CiCea International Conference 2023 and 2nd Joint Conference with CitEdEV, which took place from 25 to 27 May at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
