PISA-PT project: follow-up meeting
A follow-up meeting of the project A success story? Portugal and PISA (2000-2015) was held at CeiED’s facilities April 15th, 2019, focused on the development of tasks 5 and 6, dedicated, respectively, to the analysis of social representations and discourses about PISA in a selection of Portuguese newspapers, and in exploring in print periodicals of the professional associations and unions the emphasis and the nature of products on PISA, both informational and opinion-based.
PhD in Education – Results of the 1st phase of applications
The results of the 1st phase of applications to the PhD in Education from the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies are now available.
CeiED participates in an interview with the Executive Secretary of the CPLP
On April 1st, the scientific director of CeiED, Professor António Teodoro and the researchers Ana Benavente and Lucimar Dantas participated in an interview with the Executive Secretary of the CPLP, together with directors of PhD Programs at the Universitiy of Minho, University of Lisbon , University of Évora and University of Aveiro to discuss the theme of study visas for doctoral students and masters of the CPLP member countries, in particular the difficulties experienced by students and universities in granting visas. The activity happened in response to the request made by PhD directors from several universities of Portugal, in a meeting held in January, within the scope of the III Meeting of Young Researchers in Education.

PISA-PT research team receives Patrícia Ávila
The PISA-PT research team received and interviewed, on Friday 22 March, the Associate Professor of the School of Sociology and Public Policy of ISCTE-IUL and Deputy Director and Researcher of CIES – IUL, Patrícia Ávila.
LCE-ES – Field trip to the Money Museum
On March 6, 2019, a field trip to the Money Museum was held in Lisbon, with students and professors of the Bachelor Degree in Education Sciences – Social Education.
