The call for articles is open for Journal of Sociomuseology – Special Edition: Contemporary Art – A tool for an inclusive and regenarated museology (CARIM).
Study visits to a school in the Alvalade School Group and to CERCICA
On May 10, the 1st year class of the Master in Educational Sciences – Special Education, a student from the Degree in Social Education, and a postdoctoral student from Universidad CEU San Pablo, Madrid, accompanied by Professor Maria Odete Emygdio da Silva, an integrated researcher at CeiED and director of the mentioned Master’s, made two study visits: the first, to a school in the Alvalade School Group; the second to the Cooperative of Education, Rehabilitation and Training for Inclusion (CERCICA), located in Livramento – Cascais.
NELP in the Portuguese Language Day
The Núcleo de Estudos de Língua Portuguesa – NELP – was represented by the researcher Lucimar Dantas at the round table organized by the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais, Educação e Administração da Universidade Lusófona, on the occasion of the Portuguese Language Day, celebrated last May 5. The main theme of the round table was Linguistic Prejudice: what unites us separates us? and it was attended by participants representing several social segments, from language scientists, teachers, students and journalists from several Portuguese-speaking countries.

On May 8, the last session of the Workshop “Teachers’ Trade Unionism: from its origins to the diversity of organizations and projects”, led by Professor Antonio Teodoro and promoted by ReLeCo Formação, Profissionalismo e Identidades Docentes (ProFId), took place.

The Workshop “Museology, Education and Accessibility” was held on 19 and 20 April 2023 at IPLUSO – Instituto Politécnico da Lusofonia.
National Day of Critical Thinking
Coming from Lisbon, Guarda, Gandra and Vila Real, 60 secondary school and university students met last 19th April at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) to think critically about some global problems. The 4th edition of the Critical Thinking Day counted with the involvement of four Higher Education institutions and took place at pole II of the School of Sciences and Technology, between 9am and 5pm.
