XV CONLAB & IV AILPcsh Congresses | Reinventing Democracy in a World of Insecurities: Challenges for the Social Sciences and Humanities | Call for proposals now open
AILPcsh – International Association of Social Sciences and Humanities in Portuguese Language, of which CeiED is a collective member, was established following eleven Luso-Afro-Brazilian Social Sciences Congresses, the first edition of which dates back to 1990. Biannually held, the Congresses have promoted the development of a relevant community of scientists in the Social Sciences and Humanities in the Portuguese-speaking countries – Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe and East Timor. These Congresses have led to several scientific research collaborations and important publications.
Visit of Professor Laurizete Ferragut Passos to Lusófona University
On February 7, Professor Laurizete Ferragut Passos, Vice-Coordinator of the Post-Graduate Studies Program in Education: Formation of Trainers at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), met with CeiED researchers Maria Odete Emygdio da Silva, Rosa Serradas Duarte and Lucimar Dantas, at Universidade Lusófona.
Presence of CeiED’s researchers on CNN: National manifestation of teachers
CeiED researcher and co-director of OP.Edu, Teresa Teixeira Lopo, and CeiED researcher Elsa Estrela, went again to CNN Portugal to comment live on the national demonstration of teachers held in Lisbon on Saturday, February 11, in which participated, besides Fenprof and the National Federation of Education (FNE), eight other trade union organizations (SIPE, ASPL, Pro-Ordem, SEPLEU, SINAPE, SINDEP, SPLIU and STOP).
CeiED participates in the closing Roundtable of the VII ENJIE
The researcher from CeiED Teresa Teixeira Lopo was one of the keynote speakers at the closing Roundtable of the VII ENJIE – National Meeting of Young Researchers in Education, held in Porto, on 4 February, under the theme Research in Education and Public Policies.
Round Table “Oporto Primary Teaching School – Utopias of a Revolutionary Period”
On the 28th of January, at Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário do Porto, took place the round-table “Oporto Primary Teaching School – Utopias of a Revolutionary Period”, with the presence of Doctors Amélia Lopes and Rui Trindade, who were students at Oporto Primary Teaching School between 1976 and 1979.
XIV Sociomuseology Week
Sociomuseology Week marks the academic year of the Doctoral and Master’s Programmes at the Department of Museology of Universidade Lusófona and its 14th edition will take place from February 23rd to March 4th 2023.
