CeiED researcher, Sónia Cardoso, participated, on the 30th and 31st of March 2023, in the 8th International Conference on Professional & Practice Based Doctorates – Authentic and Transformative Learning in Practice-based Doctoral Education, in York Racecourse, York, United Kingdom.

On 27 March the second and last session of the first workshop “Teachers’ Trade Unionism: from its origins to the diversity of organisations and projects”, led by Professor António Teodoro, took place.

The III World Forum on Human Rights (2023) took place between 20th and 24th March, in Buenos Aires (Argentina). This event, given its dimension, took place simultaneously in four spaces in the City of Buenos Aires: Memory and Human Rights Space, National Atomic Energy Commission, Faculty of Architecture and at Centro Cultural Kirchner.

In 2023, the Revista Lusófona de Educação turns 20 years old and is organising a commemorative colloquium entitled: Research in Education as a contested terrain. 20 Years of the Revista Lusófona de Educação. 

The ReLeCo “Núcleo de Estudos Africanos: Educação e Sociedade”, of the Centro de Estudos Interdisciplinares em Educação e Desenvolvimento, of the Universidade Lusófona (CeiED|ULusofona|ReLeCo NEA-ES), has the pleasure of inviting you to participate in its Open Class, under the theme: “Democracy in Africa (from the institutionalization of young democracies in Sub-Saharan Africa)”, to take place on April 17, 2023, at 17h30, with the presence and lecture of Professor Edalina Sanches, Auxiliary Researcher at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon and author of the book Party Systems in Young Democracies: Varieties of institutionalization in Sub-Saharan Africa (Routledge, 2018).
