Agrupamento de Escolas da Boa Água visit

On January 18, the students from the PhD in Education and Master’s in Educational Administration and Regulation of Education and Teaching of Visual Arts. This visit allowed the students a direct contact with a differentiated pedagogical organization, that seeks to respond to the challenges that the school faces today. In this context, a school from first cycle was visited, where the students attended two activities of the project Included, Learning Communities, as well as some activities with 2nd and 3rd cycle students included in the Pilot Project of Pedagogical Innovation (PPIP).

Public defense of the Master’s Dissertation in Educational Administration and Education Regulation – José Maria Rodrigues Navio

On November 29, 2019, the public defense of the Master’s Dissertation in Educational Administration and Education Regulation under the title “Military Higher Education in Portugal and Angola. A study on the academies of the Portuguese and Angolan Air Force ” was held by Master José Maria Rodrigues Navio. The Jury was composed by Prof. Dr. José Bernardino Duarte (President), Prof. Dr. António Tomé (Arguing) and Prof. Dr. António Teodoro (Advisor).

Public defense of the Doctoral Thesis in Education – José Manuel Rodrigues de Almeida

The public defense of the PhD thesis in Education of José Manuel Rodrigues de Almeida was held on January 8, 2019 with the theme “School Space and Inclusion: The Intervention of the School Park in Secondary Schools (2007/2011)”, advised by Prof. Dr. Mário Caneva Moutinho (ULHT) and Prof. Dr. Rosa Serradas Duarte (ULHT). The Jury was chaired by Prof. Dr. António Teodoro (ULHT), argued by Prof. Dr. Maria Clarisse Nunes (ESEL) and Prof. Dr. Teresa Valsassina Heitor (IST-Lisbon) and had as vowel Prof. Dr. Óscar Conceição de Sousa (ULHT) and Prof. Dr. Pedro Ressano Garcia (ULHT).

PhD Student in Education publishes in scientific journal

Silvanya Suellem de Lima Romeu, PhD Student in Education at the Institute of Education of the Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa (IE-ULHT), under the guidance of Prof. Maria Neves Gonçalves, just published an article entitled “Discourse and teacher identity: a comparative study of the covers of the magazine Nova Escola” in the journal Leia Escola, a Brazilian publication indexed and dedicated to the area of Linguistics and Literature.
