Citizen Science Doctoral College discusses Ethics in Scientific Research
The workshop Ethics in Scientific Research promoted by the PhD College Citizen Science EMU – CeiED took place last September 30th, via zoom. The work was coordinated by Professor Ana Benavente, president of the Ethics Commission of the Lusófona University and by the Magnificent Rector of ULHT, Professor Mário Moutinho, who discussed the topic with PhD students in Education, Museology and Urbanism, teachers and researchers of CeiED.
Meeting of the Council of Research Centres in Education Sciences and Policies
The Direction of CeiED, represented by Professor António Teodoro and Professor Elsa Estrela, participated on October 1st at the meeting of the Council of Research Centres in Science and Education Policies, which was held in hybrid mode.
Science Schools: Initiation to scientific research and digital experiments for a science of future
On September 30th, the 2nd edition of the Science Schools activity ended, which this year was entitled Initiation to scientific research and digital experiments for a science of the future. This initiative was funded under the special FCT support “Summer with Science 2021”.
Urban Planning students participate in the Training School in Murcia/Spain – Project Underground4Value
Nagayamma Aragão and Zuinder Manico, PhD students in urban planning and researchers of the Project DITA| CIDATE| CeiED participated in the second training school organised by the COST Action CA18110 Underground Built Heritage as catalyser for Community Valorisation.
Publication of new scientific paper: Vítor Rosa
Vítor Rosa, Researcher at CeiED, published a new scientific article on PISA and financial literacy: the results from Portugal, in Revista Portuguesa de Investigação Educacional. This article aims to analyse financial literacy from the known global data of the countries participating in PISA, but with a particular look at the data from Portugal.
Participation in the fifth meeting of the STAIRS project
