Artista Professor Artista Talks
Last Friday, November 12th, the first Artista Professor Artista Talk took place, which around 40 people attended. This event is the first of a Cycle promoted by the Master in Arts Teaching (CeIED/COW) intended to share experiences and reflect on the articulation of artistic practice with teaching.

Research Seminar in Urban Planning
The second Research Seminar in Urban Planning in 2021 has been organised on 8 November in celebration of World Urbanism Day. The online event brought together researchers, academics and students from Angola, Brazil, Iran, Portugal and Spain to share experiences on spatial planning.
Debate Session “Democracy and Education: Old and New Dilemmas”
A debate session was held on 10 November, related to the conference “Democracy and Education: old and new Dilemmas”. The conference, given by Professor Almerindo Janela Afonso, during the Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year, which took place on 20 October, aroused a lot of interest among the teachers, students and researchers who attended.
II International Congress 2021: Humanism, Human Rights and Citizenship
The II Congress Humanism, Human Rights and Citizenship, organized by CeiED, took place on the 28th and 29th of October. The event had 256 registered participants. The sessions, exclusively online through the Zoom platform, had many participants and the quality of the interventions and guest speakers was praised by moderators and participants.
Between September 22, 2021 and October 20, 2021, 4 master’s dissertations of the Master’s Degree in Education Sciences were defended
The master’s students Genilson Pereira da Silva Senrra, Ednalva Alves Moreira dos Santos, Loide Seles Marques and Maria Antônia Vinhas Talher Barros presented the dissertations with the themes “A Ludicidade Como Ferramenta Para o Ensino de Geografia”, “(In) disciplina na escola: perspetiva da ação docente”, “Educação em saúde: a mudança de hábitos em alunos de uma escola do ensino fundamental através do programa saúde na escola” and “Texto literário: prática docente em escola no litoral sul de Porto Seguro, no distrito de Trancoso” respectively.
