New Article by Researcher Sónia Cardoso on Doctoral Education
Sónia Cardoso, researcher at CeiED, in collaboration with Lilia Mantai from the University of Sydney Business School, has just published a new article in the journal Innovations in Education and Teaching International.
The article, titled “Global transformations and doctoral agency: Cross-national perspectives on the evolving doctoral experience”, is now available online via Taylor & Francis.

About the Article
This study examines how doctoral students in Portugal, Germany, and Australia respond to global transformations in doctoral education. It highlights the impact of institutional and national contexts on students’ experiences and agency, offering valuable insights into the evolving nature of doctoral studies within a globalised academic landscape.
