Micro Educational Encounters | Óscar de Sousa

The researcher Óscar de Sousa participated as a speaker, on September 2nd, in the Pedagogical Micro Encounters, organized by the School Grouping of Ferreira do Zêzere. The conferences, with the motto “Ideas worth spreading…”, took place on September 1st and 2nd, and gathered around 100 teachers. The Conferences were based on the Grouping’s investment in the sharing of knowledge and experiences as a dimension promoting a healthy and trustworthy working environment.

Professor Bento Cavadas, CeiED integrated researcher, and Professor Elisabete Linhares, coordinator of the Environmental Education and Nature Tourism course of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, published the chapter “Using a Problem-Based Learning Approach to Develop Sustainability Competencies in Higher Education Students” in the book Handbook of Sustainability Science in the Future Policies / Technologies and Education by 2050, published by Springer.

Participation in international conferences | Sónia Cardoso

CeiED’s integrated researcher, Sónia Cardoso, was invited to be keynote speaker at the 8th international conference on Professional and Practice-Based Doctoral Education – ‘Authentic and Transformative Learning in Practice-based Doctoral Education’ 30-31 March 2023 at York Racecourse, York, England. The International Conference on Professional and Practice Doctorates, run in partnership with Middlesex University since 2009, is the leading event focusing on the development, provision and impact of professional, practice-based and practice-led doctorates in institutions across the globe.
