ReMASE Project: Phase I concluded

The 18-month Research Methods in Advanced Studies in Education (ReMASE) project funded by fct aims to identify and enunciate research-based principles and guidelines for improving the teaching of research methodologies in Education and is organised in three working phases. Phase I is concerned with mapping the field (theoretical and empirical). Phase II is the time for data collection and analysis (survey-questionnaire followed by focus-group interviews). Phase III takes the results of the theoretical mapping and the empirical results to produce a framework – constituted by principles and correspondent guidelines – for the design of research methods courses.

Researchers from CeiED participate in the XVI Congress of SPCE

Elsa Estrela and Rosa Serradas Duarte, CeiED researchers, participated in the thematic panel The construction of professional teacher identities in diverse contexts: Some contributions, with the communication Deconstruction and reconstruction of teacher identity(ies), inserted in the XVI Congress of SPCE – Portuguese Society of Education Sciences – Education and Cities: Times, spaces, actors and cultures.

Researcher from CeiED participates in ECER

Elsa Estrela, CeiED’s researcher, participated in ECER – European Conference on Educational Research, organized by EERA – European Educational Research Association -, under the title Education in a Changing World: The impact of global realities on the prospects and experiences of educational research, which took place in Yerevan, Armenia, between 22 and 25 August, and online, between 1 and 10 September.

On September 20, 2022, at the Marvila Library, took place the presentation of the results of the ‘Participatory study on mobility in Marvila, Lisbon’, carried out through the Gingada project.

OP.Edu chairs panel at the XVI Congress of SPCE

Teresa Teixeira Lopo, researcher at CeiED and co-director of OP.Edu – Observatory for Education and Training Policies, will moderate a panel within the thematic line Education, citizenship and participation at the XVI Congress of SPCE – The Portuguese Society of Education Sciences. The researcher will also present the paper Education for global citizenship in Portuguese scientific journals (2012-2021), a co-authored work along with researchers Inês Vieira (Op.Edu-CeiED) and António Teodoro (CeiED).
