Workshop: Pedagogical assessment: Assumptions and practices

On the 12th of July, the workshop entitled “Pedagogical Assessment: assumptions and practices” was held at the IX International Seminar of OBVIE, at the University of Porto, promoted by the Post-Doctoral researcher at CeiED Louise Lima and by Professor Cristiana Madureira (Escola Superior of Education and Social Sciences at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Portugal). The groups, after the discussion based on the panel “Evaluating is…”, built tasks for a formative evaluation (and, therefore, that allow learning and teaching) as a result of surprise boxes.

Proceedings of the XI Portuguese Congress of Sociology

Vítor Rosa, Integrated Researcher at CeiED and Coordinator of ReLeCo – Educação Desportiva, Corpo e Ética publishes a new text in the context of the Proceedings of the XI Portuguese Congress of Sociology, “Identidades ao rubro: diferenças, pertenças e populismos num mundo efervescente” (2021). The theme is “Sociological analysis of martial arts and combat sports in Portugal”. The author seeks to analyse, sociologically, the sociocultural characteristics of the practitioners of two combat sports (judo and aikido).

Cultural visit to Quinta and Palace of Bacalhôa

In the context of the 12th EIC, organized by CeiED, of ULHT, a cultural visit to Quinta and Palace of Bacalhôa took place on July 13, with the students of the Doctoral Course in Education, under the supervision of Professor Elsa Estrela.

Work meeting of the Seed Project The language that I inhabit

Last Wednesday, 13/07, the research team of the seed project A língua que habito, o mundo que construo: ensino de língua portuguesa e desenvolvimento de competências em países da comunidade lusófona met in person at CeiED’s facilities. The meeting aimed to adjust the details of the data collection tasks in the participating schools in Angola, Brazil and Portugal, taking advantage of the presence in Lisbon of the doctoral students who are part of the project research team in Angola: Maria Teresa Costa and Rosalina Lambo; and in Brazil: Mary Joice Rodrigues and Raimunda Lobão.

Ebook II International Congress “Humanism, Human Rights and Citizenship”

The II International Congress “Humanism, Human Rights and Citizenship”, held on 28-29 October 2021, at the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies, constituted a space for reflective, critical and analytical academic and scientific dialogue, which included a wide range of themes and geographical provenance of participants, resulting in the present e-book of papers and abstracts of the presentations.

New article | Ad Aeternum

Vítor Rosa, integrated researcher of CeiED and coordinator of ReLeCo – Educação Desportiva, Corpo e Ética (ReLeCo – Sport, Body and Ethics Education), publishes a new article in AD AETERNUM, a scientific journal of Lusófona University. The text is about Western esotericism, particularly in France. Through a historical archive acquired by the researcher, this work seeks to understand the life and work of Jean-Baptiste Willermoz, evoking his initiatory path, as well as his Treatise on the Two natures, Man-God.
