Researcher Maria João Silva obtains the Academic Degree of Aggregate
CeiED congratulates Maria João Silva for obtaining the Academic Degree of Aggregate, in the field of Education Sciences, specialty in Didactics of Sciences, after her exams on May 10 and 11 at the Lusófona University.

The annual seminar on Research in Urban Planning successfully took place on the 5th of May 2021 as an online event, gathering people from Portugal, Angola, Canada, Cape Verde, Germany, Iran and US.
It is created the Citizen Science Doctoral College EMU – CeiED
On April 15, the Scientific Council of CeiED approved the Regulations of the Doctoral College of Citizen Science – Education, Museology and Urbanism – CeiED. This is an initiative that has been in preparation for over a year in CeiED and that is now materializing.

The video of the project AVAL: Avaliação Pedagógica, Resultados Escolares e Literacia de Leitura, which aimed to question the construction of school results in Portugal and Brazil, taking reading literacy in Portuguese as a starting point, is now available. The video, which can be viewed here, was in charge of students from the Cinema and Media Art course of ULHT: Sara Dias, design, Miguel Faustino, camera, Tomás Lourenço, sound, Tomás Lourenço, voice, and Ana Brás, editing and animation. A word of thanks to Professor Filipe Vale, responsible for the Department of Cinema and Media Art, and to all the teachers who collaborated in this project.
NELP joins CIDTFF in the commemorations of the World Day of the Portuguese Language
The Núcleo de Estudos de Língua Portuguesa – NELP – joins CIDTFF, from the University of Aveiro, in the commemorations of the World Day of the Portuguese Language organized by this Research Centre, which will take place online, via Zoom, on May 5.
47th aniversary of the 25th of April
This Sunday marks the 47th anniversary of the April 25th Revolution, also known as the Carnation Revolution. CeiED commemorates this day by recalling banned books and intervention songs. During the period from 1933 to 1974, following the publication of Decree No. 22 469, instituting censorship of books, the publication of around 900 titles were forbidden.
