The study by Joina Alves Bomfim, PhD in Education from CeiED at Lusófona University, focused on "The Use of Grammar in Portuguese Language Teaching: Contributions to the Production of Argumentative Essays." The persistent low proficiency levels among students over the years motivated the research.
Carla Galego at the 1st Education and Entrepreneurship Symposium
On 4 November, CeiED researcher Carla Galego took part as a guest speaker at the 21st International Research, Extension and Innovation Week and the 1st Education and Entrepreneurship Symposium, both promoted by UNISUAM in Rio de Janeiro.
The researcher addressed the responses that Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Europe are seeking to offer to global challenges, adapting them to the local context, and analysed the role of the European University Association (EUA) in this process.
