A meeting of the Council of Science and Education Policy Research Centres was held on January 4th, at the proposal of CeiED’s Director, Professor António Teodoro. The main point of the meeting was to debate a Ministry of Education document about the Revision of the Legal Regime of Initial Teacher Training.

José Brás, PhD Researcher at CeiED published the article entitled ” For an epistemic decolonisation of education from the ubuntu philosophy” in the journal Pedagogy, Culture & Society.

Ana Carita and Vítor Teodoro, PhD Integrated Researchers, published the article entitled School discipline in the press: The Público journal between 2011 and 2015 in the journal. Education Policy Analysis Archives. This journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access, international, multilingual, and multidisciplinary journal designed for researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and development analysts concerned with education policies.

Last December 17th, the PhD student Luís Miguel Pires Almeida presented and defended his doctoral thesis with the title Teacher Evaluation Literacy – Development and Application of the Questionnaire for Measuring Evaluation Literacy (QALA), supervised by Prof. Dr. Glória Ramalho – ULHT.
