The public launch of the Portuguese Network for Critical Thinking in Higher Education CrithinkNet took place on January 19, 2024, at the Student Hub of the University of Coimbra, with more than 110 participants.

CeiED is currently home to Professor Francisco Paulo do Nascimento, who holds a PhD from the Catholic University of Brasilia and teaches and coordinates a postgraduate course at the UDF University Center.
CeiED Researcher on the Direta Sem Café Podcast
Based on the commemorations of the fiftieth anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, Lusófona University celebrated the milestone with the series 50 anos 25 de abril (50 years of April 25), which included, for example, the Colloquium As Utopias da Revolução de Abril (The Utopias of the April Revolution) and the podcast series Direta Sem Café (Direct Without Coffee) which, in its 54th episode, featured CeiED researcher Maria Odete Emygdio da Silva.
In her visit to the podcast, Maria Odete Emygdio da Silva answered questions related to the conditions and struggles faced by people with disabilities before the respective revolutionary period, from physical barriers to social and cultural barriers, examining the panorama that shaped lives and aspirations.
