ReLeCo NEA-ES Open Class

The ReLeCo “Núcleo de Estudos Africanos: Educação e Sociedade”, of the Centro de Estudos Interdisciplinares em Educação e Desenvolvimento, of the Universidade Lusófona (CeiED|ULusofona|ReLeCo NEA-ES), has the pleasure of inviting you to participate in its Open Class, under the theme: “Democracy in Africa (from the institutionalization of young democracies in Sub-Saharan Africa)”, to take place on April 17, 2023, at 17h30, with the presence and lecture of Professor Edalina Sanches, Auxiliary Researcher at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon and author of the book Party Systems in Young Democracies: Varieties of institutionalization in Sub-Saharan Africa (Routledge, 2018).

Training action “Physical Education, Sports and Ethics

Vítor Rosa, CeiED’s Integrated Researcher, with the collaboration of the Southern Area Teachers Union (SPZS), promoted another 25 hours training action on “Physical Education, Sports and Ethics”.

Save the Date: 13th Meeting of CeiED’s Researchers

CeiED announces the 13th CeiED Researchers Meeting, which will take place on July 13 and 14, 2023, and will have as theme: “Reimagining our futures together”.

Academic inbreeding

Orlanda Tavares, researcher at CeiED, was quoted in an article in the newspaper Público, on March 13, 2023, entitled “Universities still ignore professors who are strangers to them”, as the author of one of the first studies on the phenomenon of academic inbreeding in Portugal.
